Clinton Macy Papers, 1951-1991

Abstract

The Clinton Macy papers contain the papers of the Reverend Clinton Macy relating to his tenure as rector of St. Peter’s Episcopal church from 1951 through 1985. Included in the collection are weekly church bulletins, sermon notes, planners, and various pieces of ephemera collected by Macy. The collection has been divided into two series.

The Curwen Family Papers contains the shipping, business, political, legal, and personal papers of Captain George Curwen (1610-1684/5), his son Johnathan Curwen (1640-1718), grandson Reverend George Curwen (1683-1717), and great-grandsons Samuel (1715-1802), and George (1717-1746) Curwen.
